Who We Work With

We work with schools, local authorities, communities, residents and homeowners

Schools

We have extensive experience working with schools and their communities and engaging teachers, students, premises managers, parents and headteachers. Our projects have included biodiversity improvements, heat decarbonisation plans, engagement workshops, retrofit works and continued support for schools through the retrofit and decarbonisation process.

Faith Organisations

RAFT have worked extensively with the Southwark Diocese Board of Education on school retrofit projects across their building portfolio, as well as with the Salisbury DBE.

Local Authorities

We have worked with Lambeth, Lewisham on high level school estate decarbonisation plans. We also worked with Lambeth council on our premises manager engagement programme, which sought to share knowledge with and connect premises managers across the borough. We have also ran school engagement workshops in these two boroughs. RAFT are also in the early stages of a retrofit demonstrator project for Havering council, which will feature retrofit works, an exhibition and workshop programme to engage residents in the borough with retrofit.

In 2023 RAFT completed a whole life carbon study on school retrofit for the Department for Education, who we are continuing to work with on retrofit exemplar project across 5 schools in Leeds.
